DRACUT, Mass. —
A man was trapped underneath a deck that collapsed in Dracut, a neighbor tells NewsCenter 5.
Sky5 captured video of the collapsed deck at the home on Regency Drive Tuesday afternoon.
The neighbour says he ran over to the home when he heard a man yelling for help from underneath the collapsed deck, and that he helped to get the trapped man out.
NewsCenter 5 has been told that the victim is in his 60s and that he has been taken to an area hospital.
It is not yet clear how serious the victim’s injuries are, as NewsCenter 5 has not received official word about the deck collapse from the Dracut Police Department nor the Dracut Fire Department.
